====== Identification card information system ======

As amended by Act No. 111/1998 Coll. (§57), the <wrap em>proof of studies</wrap> at a university in a regular study programme <wrap em>student ID card</wrap>. 
According to Article 9, paragraph 1 of the Study and Examination Regulations of the Silesian University in Opava as amended on 1 September 2013, a student is obliged to **when checking his/her studies** present a valid **student ID card** with a current photograph. In this case, it is an electronic validity linked to the active status and current data of the student in the information system of the study agenda.

Each SU student - is issued an ID card (IDK) which is active in the electronic systems of SU for the entire period of his/her studies. In addition to this electronic validity, there is a so-called visual validity associated with each IDK, which is marked on the IDK and can be extended by revalidation marks.

=====Information on issuing ID cards=====

**For 1st year students**
If you have duly completed and submitted <wrap em>electronic application</wrap> student ID card application and paid the ISIC, ALIVE fee in cash (if you also applied for a licensed ID card), you will receive a new student ID card at <wrap em>A422 Card Centre</wrap> at the main building of the OPF SU.

**For 1st years of continuing studies**
Students who have already studied at the OPF will have their ordinary ID card renewed automatically, IDK with ISIC license - validity will be extended by a revalidation stamp. All info is at: [[http://www.slu.cz/help/cz/jis]]

Revalidation stamp will be issued within 5 working days after cashless payment by KC in room A422 at the Main Building of the OPF SU (Univerzitní náměstí 1934/3, 733 40 Karviná). Student ID card - IDK is valid with the original personal number, with a change of personal number a new IDK is NOT issued free of charge!
